How does the waiting list work?
We do not have a waiting list where it is first come, first served. We look at the list and your description of your dog to get an idea of which individual would work best in the group. We generally always make selections based on mentality and not breed. We also have to take the size of the dog into account due to our state. Unfortunately, it is more difficult to take a very large dog into a dog daycare because of the square meters it requires in our state according to laws and regulations (Board of Agriculture/County Administrative Board).
What is required for a dog to be able to attend daycare and get a place?
Your dog should be around the year at the earliest when it starts with us. It helps if it can walk well on a leash and is used to socializing with other dogs. Feel free to practice socializing calmly with other dogs and not just playing. Many dogs have difficulty relaxing in environments where there is a lot going on, i.e. where there are many stimuli/impressions to handle. If your dog is going to feel good at doggy daycare, it should be able to get used to and be able to relax in our environment. Your dog should enjoy being with other dogs and be free of aggression in social contexts. It doesn't have to want to play all the time, but it must enjoy having other dogs next to it.
Is it expensive to have your dog at doggy daycare?
Dog daycares are not subsidized like preschools for children. We who work here are very experienced and have great expertise in most areas related to dogs. We have spent and continue to spend a lot of time on always educating and further training ourselves in the industry. This allows us to offer a quality service. Your dog gets love, walks, personal care and a relationship with us so that you can go to your work and be safe. We put our soul into taking care of your dog in the best way, every day of the week from early morning to evening.
So no, it's not expensive. The company earns about 20-25% of the amount you pay for your dog's daycare after taxes, VAT and all expenses are paid.
Do you accept unneutered males?
Sex drive is natural and we have no requirement for castration. We always have several intact males and females that stay with us. However, far from all of them are well and work well with the other dogs as uncastrated. The reason is also completely natural. Females come and go during the race (they are allowed to stay home during the race). It smells so good and pseudo-pregnant females also smell very nice, according to males. Castrated dogs also smell exciting. Some males cannot handle those feelings and cannot focus on anything else. Sometimes there are also feelings of competition and we do not want our dogs to train themselves to be in that. Not in any of these feelings.
The bottom line is that far from all males function in an environment like a doggy daycare without feeling bad, being very stressed and not functioning well socially with their friends at daycare. We just need to be aware of that, we think. As previously mentioned, we also have intact males that function very well at doggy daycare.

Do you accept puppies?
Yes. It's great to start early with dog training at a dog groomer. We offer our popular puppy introduction package for young dogs. We meet 3 times where you receive individual training in how to take care of your dog's fur. We get used to and train the puppy together on the different steps and you get home exercises to practice. The last time your puppy is bathed and clipped. We do all the work gently, safely and lovingly. It's a fantastic investment in your puppy's future life, regarding handling, safety and fur care.
Is nail trimming included?
Yes, but only if your dog is completely comfortable with claw trimming. Many dogs are sensitive and afraid of their legs and paws. Many find it uncomfortable when the groomer trims and handles the legs, especially the front legs. We do not want to add another major discomfort in the form of claw trimming as it is important that your dog feels as good as possible when he is with us. Your dog's well-being comes first when he is here.
Why is fur care so important then?
Brushing a coat with a lot of tangles is very painful. It can also hurt the dog when it moves, depending on where the tangles are. Painful experiences in connection with handling during grooming and cutting create an expectation of discomfort when handling. The result of a very tangled coat can be that the dog is afraid and stressed when handling and grooming, as well as at the dog groomer. In the worst case, it can lead to aggression in these situations due to fear. An unkempt coat can unfortunately cause secondary difficulties in behavior and for the skin, which can mean suffering for the dog.
Do you trim (jerk) dogs?
No, we do not trim trim breeds. We only cut salon cuts with scissors and a machine.
Får jag vara med?
The owner is always present when you go through the puppy introduction package. Otherwise, you are not present when your dog is here. The dog is then not tied to the relationship with its owner and we get the chance to develop a relationship and get the dog as relaxed and secure as possible with our way of working. That is, gently, safely and lovingly.
Is it expensive to go to a dog groomer?
No, it's not expensive. The groomer's salary is about 20-25% of the amount you pay for your dog's bath and haircut after taxes, VAT and all expenses are paid.
What applies in case of cancellation?
Cancellation of a booked appointment must be made no later than 24 hours before your booked appointment. If the appointment is not cancelled or cancelled later than 24 hours before, the full price will be charged. This means a loss of income and we then have no chance to fill that time. We are grateful if cancellations are made as far in advance of your booked appointment as possible.
